EFSUMB course of abdominal ultrasound: Gastrointestinal applications of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS)

The course will be focused on the gastrointestinal applications of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS). It has been designed considering as target participants Gastroenterology residents and specialists with interest and some experience in digestive ultrasound.
Registration limited to 25 participants through the SPG secretariat.
Registration Deadline: october 9th
Preferential conditions: previous experience in abdominal ultrasound and order of arrival of the enrollment.

11.30-12.15: Liver and biliary stystem: anatomy and sonographic findings
12.15-13.00: Focus on CEUS for Benign and Malignant hepatic lesions
14.30-15.00: Spleen and pâncreas: anatomy and sonographic findings
15.00-15.30: CEUS: other applications in liver (portal thrombosis; evaluation of vascularization and response to therapy in malignant tumors)
15.30-16.00: Quiz: liver lesions
16.00-17.00:Meet the expert: live abdominal examinations
